Industrial product and services amounting to 35,4 trillion manats was produced and rendered in the economy of the country in January-October months of this year.
APA was informed from the State Statistics Committee that 17,7 million tons of oil and 4,6 milliard cubic metres of gas were produced during the passed ten months. Considerable progress was also achieved in the non-oil sector in parallel with the oil sector. Except the oil production and processing fields, 16,2 % of growth was registered in the non-oil sector of the economy. The growth was higher in the clothing and weaving industry, production of transport facilities and equipments, metallurgy and other fields. 94,2 % of industrial production fall to share of products and 5,8 % of services. Production increased to 48 % in non-state enterprises providing 2/3 of general production.
The number of employees included in lists in industrial enterprises increased 3,9 % in January-September months of the current year in comparison with the respective period of the previous year and reached 155,5 thousand persons, and increased 15,2 % and reached 51,8 thousand persons in the non-state sector. The average monthly nominal salary of hired workers was 1 million 28 thousand manats. This is 11,5 % more in comparison with January-September of the previous year. The average monthly nominal salary of Azerbaijani citizens working in the oil sector also increased significantly and formed 1,3 million manats.
