According to APA, Isaac Novruzov, Deputy Energetics Minister of Georgia, has told on XIII International Conference Caspian Oil & Gas 2006 in Baku.

Saying that gas reservoirs are discovered in Georgia, Mr. Novruzov has said that it is possible to get yearly 3,5-4 billion cubic meters gas production in the reservoir nearby Tbilisi.

After the operation of that reservoir, gas production in Georgia will rise twice. Consequently, Georgia will meet 25% of gas needs with its own production in 2010 and 45% in 2020.
