Next round of talks between OJSC Azerenergy and KFW Bank of Germany was held in Baku. The German side was represented by Claudia Loy, KFW Energetics and Ecology Sector Director, and Peter Brinkman, Senior Manager in Energy Projects.

As APA reports, talks were devoted to financial aspects of the project of construction of energy transmission line with credits of KFW from the Azerbaijan Thermo Power Station to the region of Imishli.

Both sides expressed the readiness for cooperation within the project and underlined soonest realization of the project. Natig Abdullayev, the Head of KFW Baku Mission, has said that technical aspects are completely agreed on. The main focus was on financial components during the meeting.

The goal of the project is the construction of electric line of the 195 kilometers length from the Azerbaijan Thermo Power Station to the region of Imishli and the construction of the new sub-station in Geranboy.

The Bank wants to grant sub-commercial credit of EUR30 million for the project.
