The first rehearsal at Baku Crystal Hall, where Eurovision 2012 will be held, will begin on May 13, the official website of the competition said.
Representatives of 9 countries participating in the first semi-final beginning first with Montenegro, Iceland, Greece, Latvia, Albania, Romania, Switzerland, Belgium and Finland will participate in the first rehearsal. Rehearsals will be held every day from 11:00 until 20:15. Each rehearsal will run about 40 minutes.
As usual, every country will give a press conference shortly after rehearsing. The general rehearsal will be conducted on May 21-23.

The rehearsals and press conferences schedule for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 has been published, the official website of the competition said. The 57th Eurovision song contest involved 42 countries. Eighteen countries will be competing in each semi-final and 20 countries will have the opportunity to participate in the final by the results of the two semi-finals. There will be 26 countries competing in the final.
The Eurovision 2012 semi-final rounds will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26. The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is `Fire Flower`, while the motto is “Light your fire!”.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May. The Baku Crystal Hall complex which will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 has 23,000 seats, and another 16,000 viewers will be able to watch the semi-finals and the final on large monitors.
