Informal voting on the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 at the press center of the Baku Crystal Hall has been completed, as a result of which, ten finalists have been elected.
The voting was organized by Organizing Committee of Eurovision and European Broadcasting Union. It was attended by journalists, accredited fans, as well as representatives of various countries' delegations.
As a result of the voting, the second ten finalists are Turkey, Sweden, Serbia, Norway, Ukraine, Malta, Georgia, Belarus, Macedonia and Bulgaria.
Everyone may take part in an interactive voting only once, and vote for ten representatives from each semifinal. The winners will progress to the finals of the contest.
For the first time in the history of Eurovision, a new technology of voting based on touch screen booths is being used in Azerbaijan.
