Azerbaijani models have been awarded at "Best Model of the World - 2017" in France.

The beauty contest  took place in the Theater du Gymanes Mari Bell in Paris on December 8-12, Trend Life reported. The competition  brought  together models from sixty countries. 

Azerbaijani model Elkhan Huseynov took the third place in the competition. He also was awarded the title "Best Photomodel". At the same time, beautiful national representative Banu Sujay won "Best Smile" title.

The 20-year-old Elkhan Huseynov is a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Business and Management of the Azerbaijan State Economic University. He was named  the "Best Model of Azerbaijan -  2017". Besides, Elkhan is a participant of the Fashion Week in Baku. The delegation was headed by Parviz Azimzade.

Another national model Igameddin Huseynov (Igo) represented Russia at the Best Model of The World - 2017.

He awarded the title "Best Physics" together with Russian model Anna Granovskaya. 

Igameddin Huseynov (Igo) was born in Baku. Together with his family, Huseynov moved to St. Petersburg years ago.  He currently lives in Moscow. The models takes part in commercials and fashion weeks.

This year Aslikhan Karalar (Turkey) and Janulja Rajapaksha (Sri Lanka) were named the best models of the world.

Best Model of the World has been held since 1987. The president of the contest is Erkan Ozerman (Turkey).

Notably, young models Yusif Jafarli and Zakhra Garakhanov represented Azerbaijan at the contest last year.

Yusif Jafarli entered the top five models. He received prizes in the categories "Best Catwalk" and "Best Press".  Zakhra Garakhanov won the prize in the nomination "Best Charm".
