Azerbaijani Minister of Emergencies, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, received a delegation led by the Chairman of the National Emergency Management Agency of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Lieutenant-General Inam Heydar Malik, who is paying a visit to Azerbaijan within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). He noted that the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in the field of preventing, limiting and reducing the consequences of emergency situations" signed in Islamabad on January 13, 2021, gave an important impetus to the development of relations, and about the activities of the institution he heads. gave detailed information.
