Prime Minister Sa'ad al-Din al-Hariri of Lebanon arrived in Ankara on Sunday on a state visit.

Prime Minister Sa'ad al-Din al-Hariri of Lebanon arrived in Ankara on Sunday on a state visit.

Al-Hariri is set to meet with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday. Erdogan and al-Hariri will hold a joint news conference after their tete-a-tete meeting.

Besides the bilateral relations, Erdogan-al Hariri meetingis expected to focus on recent regional developments.

Al-Hariri will also be received by Parliament Speaker Mehmet Ali Sahin and President Abdullah Gul.

During al-Hariri's visit, a series of agreements including visa exemption, military cooperation and agricultural cooperation will be signed between Turkey and Lebanon.

A crowded delegation of ministers, businessmen and journalists is accompanying Prime Minister al-Hariri.

Al-Hariri is also scheduled to meet with Turkish industrialists and businessmen over a meeting to be hosted by Turkish-Lebanese Business Council in Istanbul on January 12.

Meanwhile, al-Hariri received Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu shortly after his arrival in Ankara.
