President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on expansion of relations and cooperation between Iran and Malaysia.

At the meeting with the new Malaysian ambassador to Tehran on Sunday, President Ahmadinejad highlighted the high status of Iran and Malaysia in regional and global developments.

The new Malaysian ambassador submitted his credentials to President Ahmadinejad and described the two sides' relations as satisfactory and underlined the need to broaden bilateral cooperation.

President underlined existing mutual, multi-lateral as well as international cooperation between Iran and Malaysia is very constructive and promising adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to further bolster relations in various fields with Malaysia.

The power of global arrogance and its unjust domination over the world is on the verge of collapse and the world is in dire need of a new world order, said the Iranian president, adding that Tehran and Kuala Lumpur could join hands in setting up a new world order based on justice.

"All freedom-loving and justice-seeking nations around the globe should exercise vigilance and collectively help reconstruct the world," Ahmadinejad said.
