Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has congratulated Viktor Yanukovich on victory in presidential elections in Ukraine.
Saakashvili and Yanukovich had a warm and benevolent phone talk, the President's press speaker Manana Manjgaladze said.
"Mikheil Saakashvili congratulated Viktor Yanukovich on victory in elections and wished the Ukrainian people success in economic and democratic development. The newly elected President of Ukraine also expressed wish of further cooperation," Manjgaladze added.
