The Multinational Georgia movement asked the Revenue Service, Georgian Customs Department, to explain the reason for restrictions on the Armenian-language printed media in Georgia.

In its statement, the organization points out that the Customs Department officers make it a rule not to allow printed media from Armenia to enter the Georgian territory.

They claim the Georgian law prohibits the import of Armenian printed media to Georgia.

“But the Georgian customs law does not contain any provisions restricting the import of printed media to Georgia,” says the statement.
