Besides the hotels, there are three ships for accommodating guests arriving in Baku for the Eurovision-2012 song contest, head of the Azerbaijani Association of Tourism Nahid Bagirov told Trend today.
"These ships are moored in the waters of Baku Bay, near the yacht club located at the National Sea Park," he said. "Each of these vessels can accommodate 100 people."
He also stressed that Eurovision participants are being placed in Baku hotels. Currently, around 5000 people have been accommodated. There are enough rooms available for new tourists and to date guests have been satisfied with the arrangements.
Trips to Gobustan, Absheron, Shamakhi and Gabala have been held for the official delegations of the contest since May 13. Guides who received special training will serve a large number of tourists.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Baku Crystal Hall near State Flag Square. The semi-finals will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26. The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is 'Fire Flower', while the motto is Light your fire. Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
