A monument to Khoja Nasreddin (the tale hero of numerous nations) was erected in the capital of Russia. Opening of the monument took place in the Yartsev Street of Moscow on April 1.
Representatives of many nations attended the ceremony. There were Azerbaijanis, Tajiks, Kazakhs, Afghans, Turks, and local Moscowers among them. The author of the monument is Andrey Orlov. He prepared this monument for three months. Orlov said that although there were several variants, he chose this one. The initiator of the project is the "Dialogue of cultures – single world" Regional Charity Public Foundation headed by Ruslan Bayramov. Khoja Nasreddin is the tale history of the nations of Caucasus, Central Asia, and Middle East, APA reports.
