Russian boxer Albert Salimov (60 kg) was disqualified because of hitting below the belt after a match with Venezuel`s Ector Manzanilla at the world championship here. AIBA has rejected the protest of the Russian team even though Salimov was leading 4-2.
The Russian side confessed the fact but claimed the rival from Venezuela was simulating.
