“Be First” is motto of Univision song contest

Univision song contest among the students will be held on May 15-17, 2012 in Baku. The contest’s motto “Be First” was chosen as a sign of victory. The semifinal of the contest will be held on May 15, press service of the Ministry of Sport and Youth told APA.

At least 100 motto proposals have been made by the university students since April 26. The students of Baku Slavic University, Baku State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Khazar University and the University of Economics were more active. The final decision was “Be First”. Univision billboards will be installed in the central streets and subway stations of Baku.

The contest will be held on the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Union of Azerbaijani Student Youth Organizations. The students of 26 universities of Azerbaijan will join the contest. 10 universities will be qualified for the final. The winners will be awarded. The names of jury members will not be announced. The voting will be held by the student councils, whose names will not be made public.
