"I'm in love with the talent, the voice of Alim Gasimov," Azerbaijani participant at Eurovision 2012 Song Contest Sabina Babayeva said at a press conference on Wednesday.
She noted that rehearsals with Alim Gasimov, with whom she will perform, will begin from tomorrow. "This year we once again have to prove that Azerbaijan has talented, strong performers," the singer said.
Babayeva, who will perform at the contest under number 13, said that this is a happy number for her. The singer did not want to talk about in what scenic attire she will perform. However, she hinted that 'a grand surprise' will face audience.
An ethnic version of the Azerbaijani entry song 'When the music dies', was also presented at the press conference.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Baku Crystal Hall near State Flag Square. The semi-finals will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26. The logo for the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest is 'Fire Flower', while the motto is Light your fire.
Azerbaijan won the right to host the prestigious European song contest after the victory of Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May.
