Training sessions of the athletes taking part in the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku Mar. 9.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijani gymnasts Marina Durunda, Zhala Piriyeva, Zohra Aghamirova, as well as senior and junior group teams, demonstrated their new programs.
The gymnasts are preparing for international starts, one of which will be the World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku in April and the European Championship in Hungary in May.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup will be held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries are expected to perform at the World Cup to be hosted by the Azerbaijani capital for the second time.
Qualifications will be held on the first two days of the event followed by the Apparatus Finals on last two days.
