A program on Latina TV, one of Peru's leading news channels, spoke about the results of Armenia's aggressive policy, the restoration of historical justice by liberating Azerbaijan's lands from years of occupation, and the creation of new realities in the region, Azernews reports.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Mexico informed that during the program, the TV channel's correspondent sent to our country shot video clips in the territories liberated from occupation, and it was emphasized that Armenian terrorism and vandalism were witnessed by the Peruvian journalist in Aghdam, Ganja and other cities.

The piece also noted that Garabagh is no longer a topic of discussion and that Azerbaijan has created new realities in the region by ending the Armenian occupation. It was noted that Armenia recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and the signing of the long-awaited final peace agreement between the two countries will serve to ensure security, stability, development, and progress in the region.

An interview with Azerbaijan Ambassador to Peru Mammad Talibov on this issue was also reflected during the broadcast. The Ambassador gave detailed information about the recent developments in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan and the peace agenda and said that one of the main tasks facing the Azerbaijani government is to ensure the safe and dignified return of hundreds of thousands of our citizens and compatriots who were forced to leave their lands as a result of ethnic cleansing. Despite the consequences of the ongoing Armenian mine terrorism, it was emphasized that rapid and large-scale reconstruction works are being carried out in the lands liberated from occupation.

The diplomat also touched upon the importance of the reintegration of the Armenian population of Garabagh into the social-economic and socio-political life of our country within the framework of the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan and noted that necessary measures have been taken . It was especially emphasized that during the visit of the UN mission to Garabagh not a single case of violence against local Armenian residents or damage to civil and public infrastructure was recorded.

Speaking about the process of normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, Ambassador M. Talibov highlighted the signing of the final peace agreement between the two countries, the delimitation and demarcation of borders, as well as opening regional transport and communication ties.
