Health Minister dismisses director of Blood bank

Over the last months some state programs were worked up to improve treatment of socially directed patients, including, thalasemia and hemophilia-diseased people. An action plan is under development to implement these state programs.

On Tuesday the Ministry has held a meeting in large to discuss the issues with authorized people. Shiraliyev has given instructions on purchase of PCR device revealing virus of AIDS, hepatitis and others to carry out blood test in improved method.

Besides, Shiraliyev has instructed the Director of the Hematology Institute to dismiss Namig Gayibov, the Director of the Blood bank due to deficiency in work, Trend reports.
