WHO Director General: "Azerbaijan managed to succeed in Bird Flu prevention"

Health Ministry press service told APA that Mr. Shiraliyev updated the guest about the reforms realized in health field.

The health Minister said that WHO has given support to Azerbaijan since the day when Bird Flu virus was found in Azerbaijan.

Mr. Shiraliyev said that potential relations between Azerbaijan and WHO will be closer within programs which are being realized in health field in Azerbaijan.

Jong-wook Lee stressed that he has familiarized with health field of Azerbaijan and expressed his satisfaction with the conditions in this field.

Considering reforms as complicated stage the guest said that Azerbaijan can rely on WHO's support and expressed his confidence for future development of relations. He also concluded that Azerbaijan managed to succeed in prevention of Bird Flu.
