Turkey strongly condemned on Tuesday bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry released a statement in which "it condemned Monday's and Tuesday's terrorist attacks in Baghdad, and offered condolences to families of the casualties."
In its statement, the ministry underlined importance of Iraqi nation's preserving its calm stance and holding Iraqi parliamentary elections (March 7) in a legitimate, democratic and transparent way.
The statement said Turkey would continue to support its friend and brother Iraqi people.
At least 60 people were killed in Monday's and Tuesday's bombings in Baghdad.
