Turkish industry minister said on Monday Turkey and Saudi Arabia should boost trade volume.
Industry and Trade Minister Nihat Ergun, who is paying a formal visit to Saudi Arabia, delivered a speech at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Turkey was not affected much by global economic crisis and despite many negative developments, Turkey had attracted 18.8 billion U.S. dollars of direct foreign investment in 2008, Ergun said.
"We are ready to assist Saudi investors. We will be glad to see Saudi businessmen in the Turkish market," he said.
Ergun said visa procedure between Turkey and Saudi Arabia should be lifted to boost trade volume.
