Elchin Bashirli: "We are looking forward to the CE's stance on Ruslan Bashirli's closed trial"

The lawyer Elchin Gambarov informs that they will not be able to do anything concerning the trial.

Saying they can only deal with social defense, Gambarov thinks that this activity will yield no effect.

"OSCE made a statement on the problem but the court bypassed this statement, I think out activity will also have no serious influence. But we have been looking forward to the Council of Europe's taking stance on the problem. Some changes may be observed in the process after that."

Gambarov stated that he supposed trial to be open after some stages: "We will be able to act as lawyers again when the trial's open."
