Azerbaijan, Russia continue study of materials on uncoordinated border sections

Azerbaijan and Russia will continue study of materials concerning the uncoordinated border sections.

According to Trend, the resolution was taken in a meeting of the State Commission on Delimitation of state borders between Azerbaijan and Russia, which has been recently held Russian city Derbent, the Foreign Ministry told.

Attending the gathering were Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, Special Envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexander Yakovenko, members of the state commissions, representatives and experts of relevant bodies, as well as heads of frontier regions.

The meeting centered on border passage rules in the uncoordinated sections, study and consideration of additional standard documents on border delimitation, cartographic materials on organization of the use of land and land tenure. The sides had exchange of relevant documents for their study and consideration at the commission.

Besides, members and experts of the commission jointly with the heads of frontier districts held an inspection in the coordinated sections. As result of discussions they signed relevant protocol. The sides came to an agreement on holding the next meeting in Azerbaijan. The date of the gathering will be accorded through diplomatic channels.
