Prosecutor General meets ODIHR delegation

Prosecutor General of the Azerbaijan Republic Zakir Garalov met with the delegation led by head of the election observation mission of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on May 3.

The Prosecutor General spoke of the Presidential Decrees dated 11 May and 25 October 2005 ensuring democratic and transparent elections in the country and the works carried out by law-enforcement bodies to grant suffrage of citizens.

Zakir Garalov updated the mission on the cases related to repeat elections. He also answered questions on conditions created for fair and transparent repeat elections to Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic 13 May, AzerTAg reports.
