According to Petra news agency, the summiteers are expected to discuss means of implementing the decimal program, which was approved by the extraordinary Islamic summit in January last year in Mecca, official source at Foreign Ministry said.
Detestation of Islam is the main issue the three day-conferences will review. During the three-day conference, Khatib will highlight the Jordanian role in clarifying the true image of Islam, and the role of the Amman Message to apprehend the true of Islam that calls for rejecting violence and spreading justice, equality and coexistence among peoples and different cultures.
The conference will also discuss Palestinian issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict, affirming that Palestinian cause is the central issue for Islamic nation. Ending the Israeli occupation for the Arab and Palestinian land that occupied in 1967 will also be on the agenda of the conference.
The minister will underline that Jordan was and will remain pro achieving just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and pledge to the int'l legitimacy and its resolutions, urging the Islamic countries to unify their stand to support Palestinian people.
On Iraqi issue, Khatib will underline the necessity of supporting the Iraqi government to enhance the unity, security and stability of Iraq, and he will underline the political process should include all Iraqi people.
