President Aliyev meets UNWTO Secretary General

Mr. Frangialli said he had already visited Azerbaijan and met with nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.

The UNWTO Head described as important the fact that Azerbaijan hosts the 5th session of Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers.

President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of the UNWTO Secretary General to Azerbaijan creates fine opportunities for direct familiarization with the work that is being done in the country to develop tourism.

Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of the 5th session of Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers, and expressed hope in further enhancement of cooperation between the UNWTO and Azerbaijan.
