Head office of presidential candidate attacked in Azerbaijan

"Some officials want to make me shut up, as they think that they will not be brought to responsibility.

The latest proof became the attack on the head office of the party", said chairman of the Muasir Musavat party and presidential candidate Hafiz Hajiyev.

He said a group of unknowns entered the head office by force and started to cry out coarse words.

"I know that this occurred after my recent speeches during the TV debates on the public television. But Heydar Babayev and Ismet Abbasov should not think that they will be able to give me a lesson this way.

Today I got assured that for the sake of their benefit the corrupted officials are ready for everything. Nevertheless, I am also not going to stop. We have strengthened security of the party, therefore, no one will prevent us for saying the just word", noted he.

It should be added that an appeal to the law enforcement bodies was sent due to the attack on the head office.
