The intellectual traffic regulation system, which will has no rivals in the post-Soviet area, will be established in Baku from February of 2011.

The due announcement was voiced at today's presentation of the project in the country's Ministry of Transport.
Deputy Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Musa Panakhov told reporters that the project was developed by Korean SK C&C and its preliminary cost is estimated at $76 mln and the rise in the cost is not ruled out.
It includes 9 trends, connected with the traffic regulation, elimination of traffic jams and possible emergency situations on the main streets of the capital city, establishment of e-tableu to show alternative routes, control over the parking process and so on.
55 cameras will be installed on the crossroads of the capital city to regulate the movement of the transport means and 30 cameras will be installed for control over the car parking process.
The whole system of the intellectual regulation of traffic will be regulated and controlled by a centralized way - from the Regulation Center. Its building will locate at Heydar Aliyev's Avenue on the area of the Kishli plant.
