Rasul Guliyev's party to support Ilham Aliyev at presidential elections

As is reported the said decision was taken Wednesday at the session of the Supreme Medjlis.

The party representatives are argumenting their decision as follows:

"Considering the internal political situation in the region, the parties, functioning in Azerbaijan, must join efforts and voice a single opinion.

It is important for the powers and opposition to conduct healthy competition. In turn, opposition must assess the developments objectively, while the powers must create all necessary conditions for every political structure to express its opinion freely.

Moreover, in the current situation, the powers representative have more chances to win, therefore, the powers should create all conditions for holding transparent presidential elections", reports say.

The Open society party intends to follow the decision of the Supreme Medjlis and it will hold all necessary work to support Ilham Aliyev's candidacy.
