The Baku mayor's office responded to the appeal of the parties, represented in the Center for Cooperation of Opposition regarding a meeting, planned for October 18, said head of the central office of the Musavat party Arif Hajili.

He noted that the mayor's office again prohibited the meeting of the parties and advised them to hold it in Bibi-Eybet settlement.
"Such a decision again proves that the mayor's office has rudely violated the law "On Freedom of Assembly". In this connection, we consider it inexpedient to hold any action there, for the place and slogans of the action are defined by its organizers. We will continue discussions and pass a final decision about holding the action on October 17", announced he.
The parties, represented in the center, were planning to hold an action at one of the central squares of Baku.
The Center for Cooperation of Opposition includes the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, Liberal Party, Musavat party, Civil Development party and Public forum "For Azerbaijan", which decided to boycott presidential elections.
