Armenian Defense Minister: "Country's armed forces are no worse than the qualitative criteria of Azerbaijan"

"The armed forces of any country are equipped in the framework of their capacities, and we consider it a normal process. We are not going to launch the armament race, but we have our plans and fulfill our tasks on armament and modernization of the armed forces", said Ohanyan.

The Minister said today the combat potential of the Armenian army proves that country's armed forces are no worse than the qualitative criteria of Azerbaijan.

He noted that the armed forces of Armenia will compare its combat potential to Azerbaijan's armament process.

"We can give them an adequate response, as we have done it previously", said he.

As for the promise of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to continue Armenia's isolation, Ohanyan said that Azerbaijan will always try to creation unfavorable situations for Armenia.

Yet, he promised that Armenia will always find ways of the execution of the planned programs and tasks.
