President of Azerbaijan receives special representative of NATO Secretary General on South Caucasus

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received special representative of the NATO Secretary General for the South Caucasus and Middle Asia Robert Simmons, visiting Baku, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the president.

As is reported, Simmons voiced satisfaction with the participation in the inauguration ceremony of the President of Azerbaijan and delivered a letter of congratulation from NATO secretary general Jaap de Hoop Scheffer to Ilham Aliyev.

The sides exchanged views regarding cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO.
