The Armenian deputy parliamentary speaker has seriously disappointed her compatriots by her inadequate behavior at the PACE regular sitting in Strasbourg last week.

Armine Nagdaliyan's microphone was turned off and the Armenian delegation were made leave the conference hall due to unreasonable moves.

Political activity is one of the fields which requires strict disciplined behavior. Notable that Armenian political figures have repeatedly caught all eyes on themselves by violating the Code of Conduct. The latest events in Strasbourg proved that the diplomats of the former Soviet country need to improve their political skills.

Armenian local media has chewed out the country's delegation led by Nagdalyan at the PACE meeting.

"What happened in Strasbourg last week is just a shame for Armenia. Nagdalyan ignominously miscarried her duties in the meeting. She is still traveling at the expanse of the state budget, instead of getting the boot," one of the local papers wrote.

The paper claimed that Nagdalyan's microphone was turned off after her unreasonable behaviour throughout the meeting. The meeting organizers ordered to stop the translation of speeches into Armenian and to take the country's delegation out of the conference hall.

Local media blamed the Armenian authorities for a biased distribution of power in the country. Nagdalyan's misrepresentation at the PACE meeting fueled the anti-government chants, which were triggered by the "criminal" Souren Khachatryan's eariler reappointment to the mayoral post.

Note that Nagdalyan is reportedly the richest women civil servant in the former Soviet state. Armenian diaspora organization "Stop Corruption in Armenia" in the U.S. has earlier shared information about the massive embezzlement by Nagdalyan and her husband. Diasporans claimed that the high-ranking Armenian official could steal about $1 billion from the state budget to buy a great number of mansions in different countries.
