The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry transferred tax payments in the amount of 5.35 billion AZN to the state budget in January-September 2014, the ministry's website reports. Thus, 32.4 percent of a total volume of tax fees accounted for the share of income tax proceeds for the period, value added tax - 28 percent, income tax - 13.2 percent, excise taxes - 10.9 percent, other taxes - 15.5 percent, the report says. Tax deductions from non-oil sector to the state budget amounted to 3.13 billion AZN in January-September or 58.5 percent of a total volume of proceeds. The proceeds through this line increased by 14.1 percent compared to the same period of last year, the report says. The forecast on tax deductions for 2014 for the ministry is set in the amount of 7.1 billion AZN. Around 61,181 taxpayers passed state registration in Azerbaijan within nine months of 2014. The total number of taxpayers as of October 1, 2014 was 591,178 people. The share of tax returns filed in electronic form was 90.6 percent in January-September 2014. The official exchange rate is 0.7843 AZN/USD on Oct. 14. /Trend/
