By Rufiz Hafizoglu The more Armenia’s policy fails in the region and the entire world, the more aggressive it becomes towards its neighbors and the states that are aware of the lies this policy is based upon. Armenia, which considers itself a “protector” of Christian values in the region, has a hostile attitude towards its neighbors and believes that the elimination of the Turks and Muslims is the essence of its own existence. The peoples of the region have already witnessed the attempts to implement the Armenian dream - the creation of the “Great Armenia” – in 1915 and during the occupation of Azerbaijan’s historical lands. In a time when the region’s countries, including Turkey and Azerbaijan, have created democratic conditions for the representatives of all nationalities living in their territories, Armenia’s political elite is still building its ideology on the political ideas of Garegin Nzhdeh (1886-1955). Garegin, the founder of the ethnic cleansing of Azerbaijanis on the territory of the present-day Armenia in 1918-1920, had close ties with the fascist Germany. Garegin went to Germany during the Second World War in order to put on a Nazi uniform and become a member of the Armenian National Council, established in December 1942 at the behest of the Reich Minister for the Occupied Eastern Territories Alfred Rosenberg. Having adopted the ideological legacy of Garegin, the political elite of Armenia not only mastered his fascist ideology, rejected by all humanity, but also gets a special pleasure by implementing it. Moreover, it is no secret that people, which are believed to be terrorists in many countries around the world, are accepted in Armenia as national heroes. In addition, the Armenian terrorist organization ASALA, which went underground in the early 1990's, has become active in recent years. More than one third of terrorist attacks by ASALA were directed against airports around the world, 50 percent - against diplomatic missions, including Turkish diplomats. ASALA terrorists also carried out a series of terrorist attacks against religious figures and members of the media. In total, the “service record” of the Armenian terrorist organization comprises 110 acts of terror. Turkish diplomacy suffered from ASALA most of all - 42 killed employees. Today, Turkish president said that Armenian ASALA terrorist organization threatens the countries intending to take part in the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Canakkale Victory on Apr.24. Erdogan added that sooner or later, Turkey will find out which forces stand behind this terrorist organization. Undoubtedly, namely Armenian lobby and Armenia stand behind ASALA by threatening not only Turkey, but also the whole world. Today, almost all countries actively fight the spread of terrorism. It should be noted that some Arab countries are considered the hotbed of terrorism. But for some reason, the world turns a blind eye to the threat of Armenian terrorism. By drawing parallels between ASALA and the "Islamic State", it becomes obvious that despite a number of differences, there are also a lot of similarities between them. ASALA and the “Islamic State” are primarily bound by the single religion – terror.
