The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) sold $11.9 million to six domestic banks through the auction Feb. 8, the CBA said Feb. 8.

“CBA put up for sale $200 million, but the total demand of banks for foreign currency amounted to only $11.9 million and it was fully met,” the statement said.

CBA holds auctions three times a week - on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
