Azerbaijan's state energy giant SOCAR will construct a new oil-gathering park in Pirallahi area. Plot of land with the total area of 6.4 hectares is expected to be allocated for the construction.

SOCAR’s oil and gas construction trust (Neftgaztikinti) is considered to be general contractor of the project. The new oil-gathering park will be constructed in compliance with all the technological and ecological requirements.

The park is considered to be comprised of 24 oil reservoirs with the volume capacity ranging from 100 to 3,000 cubic meters.

The project will also include office building, access gate, service rooms, fire-prevention pumping plant, oil and reservoir water pumping plants, underground drainage block and substation building. Working procedure on the plant will be fully automated.

The main objective of SOCAR’s oil and gas construction trust is maintenance and construction of deepwater and shallow water offshore facilities and onshore facilities for SOCAR’s divisions and organizations.

SOCAR is involved in exploring oil and gas fields, producing, processing, and transporting oil, gas, and gas condensate, as well as oil and chemical products in domestic and international markets, and supplying natural gas to the industry and the public in Azerbaijan.
