In January-June the nominal incomes of Azerbaijani population reached AZN 4.8bn which represents an increase of 19.6% or AZN 793.7mn as against last year’s respective period.
This period per capita income constituted AZN 580.7 representing a rise of 18.3 percent and the per capita monthly income was AZN 96.6 (US$106.6). As APA reports, net income after taxes, other compulsory payments and membership dues equaled AZN 4.3bn which represents an increase of 19.6 percent as against January-June, 2005. Population spent 70.1 percent of incomes on final consumer's goods, 11.9 percent on taxes, social insurance, and membership dues and 18 percent for increasing savings and capital.
