During the period of January-September the regional credit portfolio of Azerdemiryolbank grew by 82% to AZN 16m, which makes 36.4% of the total credit portfolio.
As APA reports, the regional enterprise was mainly financed on account of the funds allowed by German-Azerbaijan Fund, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Asian Development Bank, German-Azerbaijan Fund, DEG Investment Corporation, National Fund on Entrepreneurship Support. 1m euro-credit line of German-Azerbaijan Fund was directed to the development of small & medium size enterprises in Sumgait, Guba, Gusar, ganja, Sheki and Lenkeran. Also, the Bank has successfully continued to lend a credit line in the amount of $3m of EBRD through small credits in regions and used a credit line of $5m towards SME on-lending. During this period the Bank used $1.7m of NFES on-lending in regions. Azerdemiryolbank has 26 branches and offices.
