On Monday Azerbaijan-Austria business forum was held in Baku by Azerbaijan Economic Development Ministry.

The event was attended by over 20 representatives from Austrian companies engaged in engineering, metallurgy, oil&gas, energy, construction, transport, ICT etc. some 100 Azerbaijani businessmen.

Deputy Minister of Economic development Niyazi Safarov said Azerbaijan is keen on cooperating with Austria in all areas.

"Austrian business men are here to get familiar with Azerbaijan's investment and business climate and to have business meetings so as to deepen economic relations. This business forum the both countries' businessmen to exchange views and create partnership ties," he said.

Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy for CIS states said that Austria intends to make investment in two projects - processing wastes and building hospitals.

"100m euros will probably be invested in waste processing and between 40 and 50 euros in hospital building. The financial facilities term is expected to be 10 years," he underscored, APA informs.
