Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Wednesday conferred with Deputy Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Commerce Chassan al-Qalla on bilateral cooperation and means of developing and activating it, particularly in economy and trade.
During the meeting, talks dealt with the possibility of establishing a Syrian-Azerbaijani Businessmen Council to deepen economic ties between both countries, boosting trade exchange, exhibitions and encouraging joint projects. The two sides expressed desire to develop economic cooperation, increase trade volume and activate joint investments in the interest of both states. SANA
