State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) failed to fulfill the payment target to the state budget because of being underpaid by Azerenergy and Azerigas, the Taxes Minister Fazil Mammadov told a government meeting.
He said the SOCAR implemented the forecast by 73.9%. He added that non-oil sector tax collection for the first quarter was AZN 362.7 million against the target of 340.8 million (106.4%). The funds transferred to the state budget through the Taxes Ministry accounted for 15.3% of GDP and 71.8% of budget revenues. APA-Economics
