The project to upgrade the networking architecture in the National Bank of Azerbaijan on the basis of CISCO provision has been completed.
The upgrading will allow high-tech interrelations, advanced data exchange, security and reliability. Prior to this, the bank had used obsolete technology meeting the standards of 1990s. The new backbone network supports high safety, wireless and IP solutions. The project was implemented by Cisco's partner in Azerbaijan R.I.S.K. Company. The installed Cisco catalyst 6500, 2960 and 6504 series provides interfaces, ranging from 100 Mbit/s to 1 Gbit/s. The R.I.S.K. specialists have installed a new VLAN system. APA-Economics
