Azerbaijan state oil company (SOCAR) exported 695,161 thousand of tones oil products in January-April of 2007 which is 32% less then the same figure of last year.

According to SOCAR, in export structure diesel oil share amounted 462,749 thousand of tones, aircraft kerosene - 135,594 thousand of tones, car petrol - 76,621 thousand of tones, lubricating oil - 8,850 thousand of tones, oil bitumen - 11,347 thousand of tones.

In April 2007 SOCAR exported 206,822 thousand of tones of oil products. Including diesel oil of 121,463 thousand of tones, aircraft kerosene - 41,416 thousand of tones, car petrol - 34,071 thousand of tones, lubricating oil - 5,737 thousand of tones, oil bitumen - 4,165 thousand of tones.

According to SOCAR, in April 2007 car petrol was sold for USD 698,8 per ton (in March 2007 - USD 613,4), aircraft kerosene - for USD 628,43 (USD 591,24), diesel oil - for USD 593,51 (USD 545), black oil - for USD 311,24 (USD 274,45).

Azerbaijan has only 2 oil processing plants -"Azerneftyag" and Baku oil processing plant of total oil processing power of 22 million of tones a year. Both two plants are included in SOCAR structure. Kazakhstan Today
