Azerbaijan`s 2012 Eurovision Song Contest hopeful Sabina Babayeva held a reception today to meet the United Kingdom entrant, Engelbert Humperdinck. Media from across Azerbaijan, Russia, and the UK were all there to get photo and videos of the two singers.
Sabina presented Engelbert with a t-shirt saying “With Love from Baku”, and also asked him to autograph one of his cds for her. Engelburt told the press gathered that he will be releasing a new album once this year`s Eurovision is over.
Sabina welcomed Engelbert to Baku, to which he replied that he was overwhelmed with the welcome that he`s had everywhere that`s he`s been so far. The United Kingdom delegation also went sight-seeing yesterday away from Baku, and were very impressed with what they saw. Once the photo shoot was over, the pair went outside where Sabina pointed out various parts of the Baku skyline to Engelbert, including the flag square and arena.

Representative of United Kingdom in Eurovision Song Contest 2012 Engelbert Humperdinck watched the first semifinal from the back stage of Baku Crystal Hall. In his interview to eurovision.az, he said he was enjoying a great show and was a little nervous before his performance in the final. The singer who fell in love with Baku and its citizens has made a lot of photos of the beautiful city with his camera.
Humperdink has been impressed with the voice of Sabina Babayeva, the representative of Azerbaijan in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. "She has a strong voice", said Humperdinck.
Sabina Babayeva, who grew up listening to Engelbert Humperdinck’s songs, met with the British representative today. "I grew up listening to your songs. Now i am so happy seeing you in my home country".
Sabina Babayeva prepared a surprise for her colleagues. Performing one of Humperdinck’s hits the representative of Azerbaijan presented him as a gift a T-shirt with her face on it.
