The Azerbaijan-UK Alumni Association (AUKAA) implements a project called “The presentation of Azerbaijani culture and cuisine in front of Buckingham Palace, London”.
The aim of the project realized with financial aid by the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan is to familiarize Brits and tourists with Azerbaijani culture.
The project will feature presentation, demonstration of a film “My impressions on UK” and music video on Azerbaijan, performance of Azerbaijani national dances, awarding of participants and others.
The event will bring together employees of Azerbaijan Embassy in UK, students of universities in London, representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas and officials. A ceremony to mark 28 May - Republic Day of Azerbaijan will be arranged in the London Royal College on Monday as part of the project.
