YARAT Contemporary Art Space is delighted to invite all the night of the Museum exploring Azerbaijan’s eastern side.

This is a series of consecutively occurring events, such as dance, literature, live music and body painting.

Every participant will feel the essence of the east. You will get henna tattoos, take part in an extraordinary dance performance, dress in national Azerbaijani costumes, take memorable photos and listen to one of the most known Azerbaijani literature master piece – “Khosrov and Shirin” by Nizami Ganjavi.

If you’d like to feel the joy of being alive, join one of our three open dance classes and learn how to dance cumbia, Azerbaijani national dance and salsa! Professional instructors from Ilham Osmanov’s Dance and Art Studio will help you to improve your social dancing skills and performance abilities.

POETRY READING CORNER

Share a poetic moment and re-discover classical Azerbaijani literature by joining our “Reading corner”. Excerpts of “Khosrov and Shirin”, a famous novel by Nizami Ganjavi will be performed by two outstanding actors Fuad Osmanov and Maksud Mammadov.

CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

A beautiful “Nizami Symphony” by Fikret Amirov will be performed by the State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev and conducted by the incomparable Yalchin Adigozalov. Mr. Adigozalov previously collaborated with renowned soloists including Mstislav Rostropovich, S. Stadler, Nikolai Arnoldovich Petrov, Boris Berezovsky, D. Kogan, and P. Jablonsky
