Baku yesterday hosted the awarding ceremony "The First – 2011". The concert program organized by "Xayal Production" in Buta Palace was attended by famous persons from Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Presenters Khayal Rza and Husniyya Maharramova briefly informed the guests about the The First award. Then the Turkish and Azerbaijani firms and creative personalities were awarded. Day.Az Media Company was also among the winners. "The First" award was handed over to Day.Az media company deputy director Sevda Hamidova for a successful activity in 2011.
Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic, Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva, famous Turkish showman Beyazit Ozturk, singer Soner Sarikabadayi, Turkish folk music singer Nursac Doganisik, famous actor Erkan Petekkaya, famous actress Serena Sarikaya, Azerbaijani singer Roya and 14 times world champion in kickboxing, Honoured Master of Sports Eduard Mammadov, were also awarded. The Public TV and Radio Broadcasting Company, Turkish Show TV and Kanal D were also among the winners.
