Co-rapporteurs of Council of Europe on Azerbaijan Andreas Gross and Anrdres Herkel met with secretary general of Azerbaijan Democrat Party (ADP) Serdar Jalaloglu and chairman of Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP) Ali Aliyev in the Office of Council of Europe (CE) representation in Azerbaijan.

The issue concerning the activity of voters in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan was mentioned to be important factor; political support by Council of Europe was stressed to be important, too.

Discussions on socio-political condition in Azerbaijan, condition on implementation of the obligations before the CE, before election condition, and political prisoners issues were discussed in the meeting: "Though obligations on political matters were taken before the CE, these matters have not found their solution completely yet." These were told by secretary-general of ADP Serdar Jalaoglu in his report to APA. He stated that, the problem of political prisoner was said not to have solved completely.

The issues on the forthcoming parliamentary elections, socio-political condition in the country were discussed in the meeting between the chairman of "Umid" party Igbal Agazadeh and the co-rapporteurs. The co-rapporteurs will hold meetings with the representatives of APFP (i) and Musavat Party in the end of the day.
